Jake’s Diapers Provides Help For Seniors.

As Heather walked down the long hallway of the independent living facility where her mother, Jane, lives, she noticed the creak of the floor beneath her. Every so often, the local news blared out an open door, a noise that distracted her even for a second from the worry on her mind.

Jane has been unable to afford the items she needs for months, and Heather doesn’t have any money to help. She has her own bills, kids to feed and limited income. When she arrives, her mom is sitting on her faded couch, the once vibrant flower patterns now covered by many blankets used to protect the furniture.

Jane suffers from incontinence – yet, she’s unable to afford disposable adult diapers to help.

Many seniors like Jane live below the poverty line and cannot afford incontinence products.

Many seniors like Jane live below the poverty line, trying to get by on social security alone. It’s hard enough paying for rent, food, and medications. Even if they desperately need adult incontinence products, they often go without and just try to get by. It’s heartbreaking, not to mention it poses a significant health and hygiene risk.

Our Adult Care Essentials initiative aims to eliminate this barrier and offer the gift of adult care essentials will have a positive impact on the financial and physical health of these individuals. We officially launched ACE over the summer, with the announcement featured on local news stations. We’re happy to help people of all ages with diaper needs for those who cannot afford incontinence products.

Note: Heather and Jane are fictional characters representative of the typical beneficiaries of our program.
